Jim Hayden, Controller

As Datotel’s Controller, Mr. Hayden is responsible to direct the accounting and financial reporting activities of the company.  He also prepares and closely monitors financial performance against planned budgets and forecasts to position the company to meet its strategic initiatives.  He tracks and monitors Key Performance Indicators and assists with the strategic planning and overall goals of the company.  Mr. Hayden has over 13 years of financial management experience within a service industry.

Prior to Datotel, Hayden spent 12 years at TLC Vision in various roles.  Most recently, he was the Assistant Controller whose duties included Budgeting and Forecasting, SEC Filings, monthly close and analysis, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, as well as managing a team of 8 accounting managers.

Hayden is active in the Downs Syndrome Association of St. Louis.  He also volunteers his time as Treasurer of  the Immaculate Conception Home and School Association and has been a member of the Immaculate Conception Finance Committee as well.

Hayden earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Louis University.
